Paint correction refers to the process of removing the imperfections in a vehicle’s finish and restoring it to a better than new finish. These imperfections include but are not limited to, swirl marks, automated car wash marring, fine scratches, water spots, etched bird droppings holograming caused by poor washing techniques.
Paint correction involves the use of machine polishers and a range of different polishes and graded pads. A fully corrected vehicle when viewed in direct sunlight will show only true reflections and no swirl marks, scratches or blemishes will be visible to the naked eye.
Often times multiple stages of polishing are required to achieve full correction. The first being the most abrasive and the last being a very fine finishing polish. The deeper scratches are removed in the first stage of polish and then the lighter surface abrasions caused by this harsh polish are removed by the finer polish that follow.
When paintwork is properly corrected a very fine amount of clear coat is removed, along with the otherwise permanent scratches and swirls in the clear coat. This leaves crystal clarity and pure reflections.

Single Stage Paint Correction

This level will remove type 1 water spots (mineral deposits), moderate oxidization, industrial fallout (rough brown spotting), rotary buffer trails, paint transfer, overspray, light swirls and wash marring. After a single corrective step is completed to all panels, a durable synthetic sealant is applied by machine to further burnish your clear coat to perfection. The sealant should give you up to 6 months of protection.

Multi-Stage Paint Correction

This level will remove all but the deepest of swirls and scratches. Severe oxidization, bird poop etching, and type 2 water spots (crater etching) are aggressively compounded/polished and removed from your paint. Your paint is effectively re-leveled, removing the defected and abused top layer. This leaves behind smooth, blemish free, crystal clear paint. Final inspection is then completed of each panel to ensure it is as defect free as possible. A durable synthetic sealant is then applied by machine to further burnish your clear coat to perfection. The sealant should give you up to 6 months of protection.
